Davies, Craig’s new US Distributor Turn 14 Distribution set to ‘turn down the heat’ at the ’10 PRI Show

Iconic Australian automotive cooling technologies manufacturer, Davies, Craig Pty Ltd fired the first two shots into the US automotive aftermarket at SEMA ’10 held in Las Vegas 2-5 November. Davies, Craig launched the new alloy EWP115 (35 gal/min) Electric Water Pump and EWP/Fan Digital Controller and partnered new US Warehouse Distributor Turn 14 Distribution at the very busy booth at this year’s show.
The appointment of Philadelphia-based Turn 14 Distribution is an exciting and progressive export appointment for this ‘home grown’ cooling technologies company. Davies, Craig has a proud 40-year history of manufacture in Australia and this move to increase export business is part of the company’s strategic plan to grow markets outside Australia and the USA is an obvious target market. The launch of the all new lightweight aluminium EWP115 Electric Water Pump broadens its reach to the automotive and specific motor sport markets. Following the very successful release of the all new reinforced nylon glass model in December 2008, Davies Craig has continued to test and develop the alloy model with the view to offering the automotive aftermarket another great electric water pump alternative.
Turn 14’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Chris Candido commented, “When I visited Davies Craig last May as part of the AAAA initiative, I was very impressed. The EWP is a unique product, especially when coupled with the Davies Craig Thermatic Controller. We are excited to offer this product in the US because it stands alone in terms of capability, durability, performance, and value. The feedback and level of interest we have seen in just a few months is incredible; we expect great things from the EWP line and are excited to partner with a company with such a long history in the cooling market as Davies Craig.”
Sales & Marketing Manager, John Benson stated, “Davis, Craig is very excited to be partnering Turn 14 Distribution in the US automotive aftermarket and to be offering this fantastic new EWP product to coincide with this partnership is special.” Benson added, “The launching of our new alloy EWP115 Electric Water Pump and variable speed EWP/Fan Controller will compliment our other EWP models in the automotive aftermarket sector and we are very excited at the prospects this new product will offer us globally.” “It was the obvious choice to release the new alloy EWP115 Electric Water Pump and updated Digital Controller at SEMA and the PRI Shows in the USA and more specifically at this year’s SEMA and the PRI Shows with Turn 14 Distribution.” Benson concluded.
The USA automotive aftermarket represents the largest market and growth potential for Davies Craig cooling technology products in the world and we are determined to gain some traction with our new distributor Turn 14 appointment. There’s no doubt this appointment will allow the great Australian invented and produced engine cooling product will reach millions of potential customers in that country. Davies, Craig is delighted to be able to offer this product to the automotive aftermarket world and both SEMA and the PRI Shows represent excellent opportunities to showcase this product to the major US Automotive Aftermarket.
